I'll start posting chapters again around the first weekend of January.

Back Again

Alright, I'm back again, more or less.

I've been writing a bit more and I even have a couple of finished (though unedited) chapters waiting.  But... I'm not going to post them anytime soon.

Now, now, everybody put down the torches and pitchforks... I have a good reason for this delay.

I'm planning on building up a sort of reserve of chapters, so that I can start posting again, without any further hiatuses.  I'm aiming to start posting new chapters around New Years, and hopefully, I'll be posting constantly for several months.

Just hang in there people...

The Silence is Broken

As you can all most likely tell, I haven't been posting.

Real life concerns have been keeping me busy and my muse has been surprisingly silent for the past couple of weeks.  I have been writing, but much less than usual.  Unfortunately, I don't know when this situation will change.

Sorry.  I hope to have something soon, but no promises.

Nothing New this Week

I've unfortunately been sick this week, so I haven't been writing much of anything.

Still, the third chapter of Sellswords, Inc. should be up at SOL next week, so you know that i haven't abandoned you all.  New chapters for Dead and Back, Stronghold and My Second Life are all plugging along, rest assured.

Sellswords, Inc. Ch.2

The second chapter of Sellswords, Inc. should be up at SOL shortly, around a week early.

This story is going to have a lot of military references in it, from several armed forces.  I've tried to properly research the subject, but if anyone out there with some real world experience finds something wrong, or just something that doesn't make sense, I'd really appreciate it if they emailed me and I'll take care of it.

Sellswords, Inc.

I've just posted the first chapter of another story, Sellswords, Inc,  a sci-fi/space/military novel.

A medically discharged marine is abducted by aliens.  Aliens who just happen to need protection from other, hostile aliens.  He agrees to help them out, saving them (and eventually all of humanity) from slavery, while also managing to make a healthy profit.

I hope everybody will enjoy!

The good part about this arrangement is that there is a forum where readers can comment and communicate with writers directly.  I'm looking forward to it.

Chapter 7 of My Second Life should be posted next week.  After that, I have 3 chapters of a new sci-fi story, called Sellswords, Inc., all ready to post.  I've also finally restarted writing a new chapter of Stronghold.

So, all in all, good news and something to look forward to!

Upcoming Chapter

Some good news!

This Monday I'll be posting a new chapter for My Second Life, chapter 6.  About time, right!  Another piece of good news, chapter 7 is just about three quarters done, and should be posted (fingers crossed) two weeks later.

Also, I have two new stories (two chapters each) that I might start posting.  I honestly wanted to get further along in writing them, but really, who knows when that might be!  If I post what I have now, I might get some good feedback and ideas.

Now the bad news... I've hit a bit of a wall on Stronghold.  It feels like it might take a while to get through it.  Please bare with me people!

Flash Fiction

I've just posted two small pieces from my "A Darker World" Universe.

This Universe will be composed of mostly short and flash fiction - small story kernels or ideas which never grew into full stories.

No Update

Bad news for you, good news for me.

I've started a new job, so my writing is going to take a serious hit.  Sorry, it can't be helped.  Don't worry though, I'm not abandoning my work and sooner or later you will see new chapters posted at StoriesOnline.

Dead and Back 4

The forth chapter of Dead and Back should be up later this week.  I'm just waiting for it to come back from editing.

It may seem like I'm slow in writing new chapters, but don't be fooled.  I have five other stories I'm working on that I'm not yet posting.  I've decided to hold these in reserve.

So rest assured, I am working.

PS - If anybody out there likes my work and is willing to chip in as an editor, I'd appreciate it.

Stronghold 5

The next chapter of Stronghold should be up later this week, as soon as I give it some finishing touches and send it off to my editor.

Now, about Stronghold, some people have e-mailed me wondering when the action is going to start, and to be honest, I'm wondering also.  I didn't plan on the initial chapters to stretch out for this long, but it just sort of worked out that way.  It felt that it was important to properly introduce these characters and their relationships.

I promise, that from chapter 6 onwards, we should see things advancing much more quickly, with Marcus finally finding and setting up his stronghold.

My Second Life 5

Chapter five of My Second Life should be up Monday.  I hope you all enjoy and, as always, I accept constructive criticism and editing tips.

I'm finally getting back into the swing of things.  At least I've been writing more lately.  A new chapter should be up in two weeks.
