The
next chapter of Stronghold should be up later this week, as soon as I give it
some finishing touches and send it off to my editor.
Now,
about Stronghold, some people have e-mailed me wondering when the action is
going to start, and to be honest, I'm wondering also. I didn't plan on
the initial chapters to stretch out for this long, but it just sort of worked
out that way. It felt that it was important to properly introduce these
characters and their relationships.
I promise, that from chapter 6 onwards, we should see things advancing
much more quickly, with Marcus finally finding and setting up his stronghold.
I think it is a well thought out strategy to get the bones in place for the story and as the characters are the bones your on your way it is going to be interesting how gunny fits in as the rest are obviously younger I look forward to the plot unfolding regards
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with Andy. Assembling the characters and building the plot with all the parts and bits in place is super important, especially when the story is going to be a long one, as this appears to be.
